Lara & Natalia
At Amelia, we are two women whose strengths naturally complement each other. Our paths grew side by side; one rooted in fabrics and creativity, the other shaped by motherhood, technology, and a love for hands-on projects. Paths eventually crossed, leading us to create a children’s clothing brand built with care, intention and authenticity.
Lara, fashion as heritage and vocation
A fashion enthusiast with more than eight years of experience in the industry. I grew up surrounded by fabrics, patterns, and creativity. My family has been dedicated to fashion for generations and, in 1988, founded Bocetto. That environment shaped my path and taught me to see fashion not just as an industry but as a language: a way to tell stories with identity, purpose, and aesthetic sensitivity.
Two years ago, I founded Boga Productions, a company created to support designers and entrepreneurs in building their clothing brands. Since then, I’ve helped transform ideas into real collections, offering design, production, and manufacturing services for both my own projects and those of others. A year later, Arlie was born. My own brand, built on elegant, unique pieces with a contemporary yet timeless touch.
Today, I’m taking another step and joining Nat in this new chapter with Amelia, a children’s clothing brand that blends design, quality, and delicacy. Together, we want to build a universe full of style, softness, and personality for the little ones.
Nat, motherhood as inspiration and creative rebirth
Mom of three little ones who fill my days with love, chaos, and purpose. I’m passionate about life, simple moments, people, and (of course) my children.
My professional journey began many years ago in hospitality, a world that taught me pace, kindness, and how to connect with people. For over eight years now, I've been building my career in the software and technology sector within a multinational company. Living through three pregnancies in a very short time, made me realize how important it was to stay connected to myself and find balance between work and motherhood. Along the way, I found meaning in things like building a small greenhouse, raising chickens and running half marathons. And it was during this last maternity leave, with the arrival of my daughter Filipa, that my mother finally taught me how to sew. We started making little matching outfits for the three kids, simply for the joy of creating. Until one day, Lara, my good friend, and now my business partner, said to me:
“We should try creating a matching kids’ clothing brand together. I can share what I know, you can bring your creative mother’s eye, and we can learn from each other along the way.”
Amelia is the meeting point of two perspectives: Lara’s experience, sensitivity, and craftsmanship. Nat’s intuition, tenderness, and everyday creativity.
It is a small, honest, heartfelt brand.
Designed and produced entirely in Barcelona. Crafted only with local textile suppliers.
Rooted in classics pieces meant to be kept, cherished, and passed on.
Born from the heart, but also from expertise.
From motherhood, but also from professional experience.
From friendship, but also from mutual respect.
It was born from two women who are different, yet aligned where it matters most.
from mom to mom, Amelia.
